The S. C. State Archive Dept. has William Bryan as a representative for Williamsburg County for the 67 & 68th sessions of the state legislature, 1907-1910. They had his middle name misspelled as “Drayton”. They have corrected it.

William Dayton’s (1959-1919) father was William J. born 1820 in Bladen County N. C. lived at Green Hill, later renamed Taft S. C. Died aprox 1888. William Dayton’s son was William Dewitt, my Grandfather, of Kingstree S. C.

William Dewitt Bryan born 1859 in Robertson County, NC. He died 29 Sep 1919. I have him as a farmer.

Looking for information on my great great Grandfather, William Dayton Bryan, from Williamsburg county who was a member of the South Carolina State House of Representatives from 1907 through 1910. Any help would be appreciated, C.E.Bryan
